About Krewe of Boo

The Krewe of BOO! parade has become New Orleans’ official Halloween event since it started in 2007. It combines the grand scale of Mardi Gras with the macabre theatrics of Halloween. For this year, it starts at the Elysian Fields Avenue, and ends at the Tchoupitoulas Street to Andrew Higgins Drive. There is no other best family-friendly Halloween event. Everyone can assist in a costume and be prepared to have tons of fun. The parade features marching bands, dance troupes, walking krewes and elaborately designed floats created by the renowned Kern Studios. And for the adults, after the parade you can continue the celebration to the “Monster Mash”, the biggest Halloween parade afterparty in the Warehouse District.

Even on rainy days, New Orleans has many indoor options so the fun never stops! Kids always love a little competition as well as making new friends, so luckily we found some incredible game places that combine both! Take a look at these awesome Laser Tags and Arcades that guarantee fun for the whole family!
