Audubon Insectarium is a unique museum devoted to some of the world’s fascinating insects.

Families with kids will have the perfect day at the Audubon Insectarium! With many unique and awesome activities and exhibits such as trying edible insect cuisine, exploring a beautiful garden overlooking the Mississippi River with hundreds of free flying butterflies, seeing over 50 displays with live arthropods, and much more, the Insectarium will be your family’s next favorite spot!

Audubon Insectarium is one of the most unique interactive museums in America. Discover up close a leaf cutter ant colony marching in the walls, see exotic and colorful beetles, and be immersed in our butterfly garden.
Families will witness many magical things at this interactive museum, such us seeing a leaf cutter ant colony up close, to colorful and exotic beetles, and the stars of the whole show: the butterfly garden, where hundreds of butterflies and flowers coexist in a breathtaking exhibit.
