The Bayou Builders is a FIRST Lego League team located in Hammond, Louisiana. This community-based team learns and connects with fellow teams through robotics and STEM discoveries.
Students ages 9 to 14 can join the Bayou Builders to enjoy skill-building camps and learn more about robotics. They also offer robotics camps for children ages 5 to 9.
Using LEGO technology, kids develop stronger team-building and critical-thinking skills, by designing and programming robots!
Through school demonstrations and mini-maker fairs at local libraries, they also offer community presentations to promote interest in STEM activities and robotics.
