About Lafreniere Park

Lafreniere Park is a 155-acre park in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, and the largest park on the East Bank. Originally an undeveloped area, it has become one of the most important parks in the state for its variety of recreational areas.
Filled with open green spaces, fountains, and picnic areas, it is perfect for families who want to spend time with nature. It also offers a championship Frisbee golf course, soccer fields, a dog park, and a children’s spray park (great for those looking for splash pad options!).
Visitors can enjoy recreational activities such as jogging, cardiovascular exercise, and physical fitness. It’s a popular venue for annual community celebrations and other events.
