Since it opened its doors in 1897, the New Orleans Public Library has provided the community with educational programs, information resources, and many book collections to promote literacy and encourage creativity.
The library offers many different Book Clubs that your children might enjoy, you can check them out on the official website. There you’ll also find movies, magazines, and newspapers.
For the youngest readers, there’s the Early Literacy program, which encourages kids from toddlers to 5-year-olds to read and write, where the library hosts storytime sessions as well as fun Playtime sessions!
