Tangipahoa African American Heritage Museum’s eight galleries preserve African American heritage and culture, as well as its murals, artwork, and artifacts.
They offer educational museum tours for all kinds of groups, in partnership with other museums and universities.
For children, the museum has Summer Camps to promote critical thinking and creativity through STEAM activities. On the field trips to nature reserves, local science centers, and technology companies, the kids will get to see how STEAM activities work in the real world.
