About The Cabildo

The Cabildo is one of Louisiana’s State Museums in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans.

In its new exhibition, We Love You, New Orleans! all sorts of characteristic objects of the city are presented to celebrate its 300th anniversary. It includes memorabilia from Pontchartrain Beach and of course, a Mardi Gras Indian suit.

The museum offers students and families different educational programs such as Scavenger Hunts, Lesson Plans, and Field Trips.

You can even celebrate your birthday here!
