About The Historic New Orleans Collection

The Historic New Orleans Collection is a museum and research center founded in 1966 to preserve the city’s multicultural heritage through exhibitions, articles, and books.

It also provides educational programs for students and teachers, including Field Trips and Study Tours. There’s also a professional training workshop for the teachers.

Don’t miss out on the many events, lectures, and concerts the museum hosts! The lectures and concerts give special recognition to jazz’s influence on the city’s culture.
